So with Comic Con going on recently, there have been numerous BIG happenings in fandoms. Once Upon a Time, MARVEL, The Hobbit, Doctor Who, The Hunger Games… It is almost too much to handle! (Be aware that spoilers will be contained in the following sections. The spoilers will be whited out, you will have to highlight them if you want to read them.)

In the Once Upon a Time fandom: They showed AT LEAST two clips from the upcoming season, one of which I have seen. The first is of Elsa and Anna (*squeals*) preparing for what seems to be Anna’s wedding to Kristoff (*squeals even louder*). The second, which I have seen, is of Regina, visiting Sydney, who is still in prison. She asks him for her mirror, telling him that there is someone (Marian?) in the way of her happy ending, and that she needs to get rid of her.  Other news is that two new cast members have joined the show. The first is John Rys-Davies, known for his Role as Gimli in Lord of the Rings. He joins the cast as Pabbie the rock troll! (*SQUEEEEEE*). The other is Tyler Jacob Moore, who will be playing… Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. (DUN DUN DUN)

In the MARVEL fandom: We learned of three new characters joining the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Lucy Lawless joins that cast as Isabelle Hartley, a knife-wielding SHIELD veteran. Nick Blood will be playing Lance Hunter, a mercenary who will be fighting alongside our agents. Last is Reed Diamond, who will be playing David Whitehall, who is a member of Hydra and known by an alias, the Kraken.

In the Doctor Who fandom: One major announcement… veteran film director Peter Jackson will be directing an episode of series eight *runs around house screaming with joy*.

In The Hunger Games fandom: The official teaser trailer for “Mockingjay – Part One” has been released. The trailer delivers plenty of excitement, with new scenes of the rebellion, but holds back just enough to leave you desperate for more, showing brief clips of President Snow, Katniss, Plutarch, and NO appearances from Peeta, Finnick, or Johanna. Unfortunately my computer was being quite dumb this morning, and would not allow me to post the link to the trailer here.

And finally, in The Hobbit fandom: The official teaser for “Battle of the Five Armies” was released yesterday, causing the fandom to go nuts in a matter of minutes. The trailer certainly delivers, bringing us lots of action clips, and several lines of dialogue. We also saw a brief glimpse of Thranduil in action, as well as an amazing clip of Smaug as he destroys Laketown.

So there you have it, the most recent updates in all of the fandoms. In other news, I am going to start a video blog thingy soon. My first video will be on spoilers, and I am eager to hear what you guys would like me to do videos on! Stay nerdy!

Well, this is my first time doing anything like this, but here goes!

The Liebster Award is basically about promoting unknown bloggers, and helping them get exposure! Here are the rules(and I have no clue why it is called an award):

I would like to thank Beth P., My beautiful and amazing friend who nominated me for this! Check out her awesome blog here: http://adventuresofanelvenprincess.blogspot.com/

Now, on to things about yours truly…

  1. I have a weakness for chocolate. If there is any in the house, you can guarantee that I will eat it.
  2. I just got a new cell phone and have discovered instagram, and I am really… REALLY trying not to take a bazillion pictures with my awesome camera!
  3. I still play on Club Penguin. Remember that site? If yes, then you had an fairly cool childhood. If not… Well, then you missed out on a few things.
  4. The first adult fiction I ever read was Lord of the Rings, and it remains my favorite to this day. Coming in a close second is Left Behind.
  5. I am obsessed with mysteries! I wanted to be Nancy Drew when I was a kid, and I love her computer games! I love to watch the old murder mysteries like Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, and occasionally Perry Mason. I also enjoy a couple of modern mystery shows, like Murdoch Mysteries.
  6. If I am alone in the house, then I will sing Disney tunes at the top of my lungs and dance as if I were a princess!
  7. I have never had a boyfriend, though that isn’t to say that I haven’t had a crush or two in my lifetime.
  8. I LOVE LOVE LOVE anything from Bath and Body Works! Everything smells so pretty, and my skin always feels so soft after I use the body wash in particular!
  9. I am very protective of my long hair. I get it trimmed when I have to, but I never allow it to come above my collarbone. If it does, then… well, let’s just say I get very upset.
  10. My favorite superheroes are Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the Falcon. Favorite villain is obviously Loki!
  11. I may seem like a tomboy at times, but I am a girly girl at heart. I love pink, ruffles and lace, glitter, long dresses, Barbies, and princesses.

The First Official Trailer for “Doctor Who” Series 8

clara-capaldi-danny-series-8

Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven’t posted in a while, but these last few weeks have been absolutely PACKED. A lot of exciting stuff is happening in my fandoms currently, but the biggest piece of news thus far is this… Last night during the final game of the World Cup, the first real trailer for Series 8 of Doctor Who aired, causing the fandom to go bonkers!

https://i2.wp.com/media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/originals/3a/c2/4c/3ac24cd6f9b3487a2f41f69abeb9f55f.jpg

What did we learn from this trailer? Well, we learned that Clara is definitely unsure about the Doctor’s new incarnation, as she says “I don’t know who the Doctor is anymore”. And at the end, the Doctor asks her “Am I a good man?” and she responds with “I…don’t know”. We also saw several new enemies, as well as a couple of old ones. Some of them look pretty freaky. The old ones that I mentioned were of course, the Daleks,

(Of course we weren’t expecting that one bit) and a dinosaur. And yes, the Doctor faced dinosaurs a long time ago, in his third incarnation.

We also got to see Madame Vastra, which means that the Paternoster Gang is returning! (WOOT!!!!) By the looks of this trailer, series 8 looks to be an exciting ride. https://www.youtube.com/embed/TivqZTq5u6Y

In other news, an awesome friend of mine finally started watching Doctor Who! And she likes it thus far! Also, the trailer for Mockingjay Part One, AND the trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug are both coming out in the next couple of weeks! There is too much fangirling for me to handle…

finally an accurate gif of fangirling <<< YES!
